Joe Gottwald II brings extraordinary breadth of experience to healthcare innovation, combining military leadership, business acumen, and technological expertise. A healthcare innovator, military veteran, AI expert, and Co-Author of Healthcare as a SYSTEM IN Crisis, he currently serves as Chairman of the Board at Ever-Path Acquisitions, LLC, a healthcare corporation focused on advancing innovation and strategic growth.
His 30-year military career took him from Private to Colonel, serving as an Artillery Officer with additional duties in intelligence, operations, security, and analytical processes. As Operations Officer for the largest Transportation Group in Europe, he managed operations supporting more than 40,000 military and civilian personnel, earning numerous medals and awards for his leadership, service, and commitment to his soldiers.
His academic background includes a bachelor’s degree earned while attending the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and a master’s degree in Contemporary Leadership and Operations in National Resources Management from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School of National Defense University. He has also studied at LaSalle University, Penn State University, Villanova University, Lebanon Valley College, and the University of Colorado Boulder. In addition, he holds SHRM certification in Human Resources Management along with numerous professional certifications.
Following military service, Joe transitioned into real estate leadership, achieving an 800% increase in sales and personnel growth within four years while successfully managing millions of dollars in mergers and acquisitions.
His expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning led to the publication of the New AI Compendium, a monthly publication designed to make AI advancements understandable and accessible to a broader audience.
